ABOUT THE CHEF
Rainosek graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in 1996 and from the University of Alabama with a degree in political science in 2001. He originally intended to go to law school but changed his mind along the way. His love of cooking goes back to his childhood when his mother said he had to ‘cook or clean’ to help in the kitchen. Cooking was preferable. To help pay for college, Rainosek managed a restaurant and enjoyed it, deciding to pursue a culinary path instead of law. Rainosek graduated from the premier Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, Colo., in spring 2005. He returned to Mobile in 2006 and created the menu at Dauphin Street Taqueria. Shortly thereafter he became the Executive Chef of The Wash House, owned by his college friend Robert Yarbrough. The team opened the Noble South, featuring fine dining farm to table, in May of 2014,  to rave reviews.
